My first visit to Mike's Kitchen. I decided to sit outside with the dog, although dogs are allowed inside. I took a seat and after a few minutes Joe came out and introduced himself, he was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the roast beef with a coffee and homemade sticky toffee pudding. All I can say is that my plate was completely empty and the sticky toffee pudding was fab. All for under £15. I will be back, the breakfast looks too good to miss. Thanks to Mike, Joe and all the staff for an enjoyable first visit.

I happened to stop by this place while traveling around the area, and I was very satisfied. The price was not expensive, the food was nice, and the service was friendly. It was nice that it was dog friendly. Even though it was a short time, I felt the warmth of the staff and the customers. It's a great local cafe.

So I decided today to go a bicycle ride all way to Pilling and then Knotts End, when I found Mike's Kitchen. Naturally I was hungry and made it and had a great chat with Mike. Service was brilliant gave me a helpful advice for my journey home. Now the breakfast I had a large English breakfast £7.50 (yes I know very cheap) the ingredients alone are more expensive put together. I did offer advice back and told him that local to me, your looking at a extra quid and he needs to up the price. Mike's reasons for it being cheap well how can I complain they are very good reasons. Anyways back to the breakfast, I requested no Mushrooms as they are evil. Mike gave me a extra sausage, and for toast he recommended the Sour dough he freshly made because it will settle on my stomach better than normal bread. (Mike if you read this, you were right and I will be making that decision everytime I have breakfast). I paid what I clearly thought it was worth, a pot coffee £2.00 easy, the full English breakfast £9.00. I do recommend you to go as its definitely worth it and Mike is a very happy fella.

The best full English breakfast over Wyre, everywhere else is 8/10, this place is a solid 10/10. And I'm a connoisseur! Support this excellent gaff!

Had a lovely veggie breakfast here with the best and friendliest service... amazing artisinal sour dough toast too! Great value and a lovely brew. Sat outside and enjoyed the ambience! Cutest little resident dog too! Was one of only places to get food on demand on a Sunday so happy to have discovered this hidden gem :)

Our first visit to Mike's Kitchen. We just had a snack. The scone was amazing. Mike gave us a tea cake to try, which I am sure will be delicious as I haven't eaten it yet. Friendly and welcoming, we will be back.

Father's Day (2025) We all enjoyed a delicious breakfast! My husband had a milkshake and said it was amazing. The prices are excellent, and even our older dogs are welcome inside, but we decided to sit outside.

We popped in again for a Sunday lunch as were staying in BandB half hour away. What a treat a filling and flavoursome Sunday roast, 1 chicken and 1 beef. Cheerily served up and what excellent value. Options to sit in or out and they are dog friendly also, there is a free parking lot a short walk away. And the option to pay cash or card.
